We bought the base and expansion at the same time and have loved both. It's become a new favorite and we have played it a LOT in the last few weeks. It's fun to play with 2 people and do a bigger board (5x5), but also fun with 3 or more. I am a big butterfly lover, so the expansion is a favorite!

This game is the extended part of Jewel Box. We just recently learned how to play Jewel Box, it's super cute, has great images and easy to learn. This extended version was purchased so we can have 6 players. It's fun to have more options to work for.

The expansion is great
More beautiful artwork, makes the gameplay more fun! We play with it most games. My daughter (9 years old) just kicked my butt with a 68 point round (pictured, she only used one set of tweezers).
